The guest house
Between tradition, exclusivity and sustainable tourism.
Finca el Azahar is different from other rural houses due to the tranquillity, comfort and privacy it offers its guests, as it only has five spacious and bright rooms, with views of the gardens or the countryside, distributed between the main building and the outbuildings.
The recent renovation of this wine press, where the grapes used to be trodden and the must collected, has been carried out by the artist and designer Fátima de Burnay, who has managed to give it a personal and modern touch. Thanks to the use of materials typical of the region and the preservation of the original architecture, the rural house offers a unique, warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Finca el Azahar aims to be a sustainable and environmentally friendly rural accommodation. Wherever the bioclimatic qualities of this traditional architecture allow, we have taken advantage of the thermal comfort offered by the spaces without overloading them with air conditioning.
In symbiosis with nature.
Situated in the heart of nature, the gîte has an old pebbled courtyard with orange trees, bougainvillea, roses and jasmine, as well as a garden around the swimming pool planted with fruit trees bordering the vineyards and olive trees. When the weather permits, breakfast and dinner are served under the pergolas and vines. There is also a chicken coop and a small vegetable garden, from where you can enjoy the romantic view of the countryside.
The advice of María Medina, Gregorio Marañón and Peter Bourguignon has been taken into account for the landscaping.
